The restaurants is in the centre of Pietrasanta, town known all over the world for the marble manufacturing and the bronze foundries loved by Botero, one of the most important artist of our times. His statues dominate little squares and his paintings are exposed in the little typical churches of Pietrasanta. Other famous sculptors in the world meet here to discover the secrets of marble and to know the newest techniques of the bronze foundries. Pietrasanta used to be a little Medici’s fief and its walls still tell the story of its past, always trying to grow because of its strategic position under the Apuan Alps and near the Tyrrhenian cost. Our restaurant reflects the ancient style of the little town, rustic but elegant at the same time. Our cousine is very connected with our traditions and takes us to the old cookery roads with the addiction of new modern dishes. for our guests’ tastes we make grilled fish, in the wood stove or our pizzas. White and red meats with porcini mushrooms are served with baked vegetables. We are always changing our dishes, always searching for new ingredients and new specialities, like the ostrich we serve in the winter nights with boiled vegetables and red pepper; in a short time we will also present a carpaccio kangaroo fillet.
